"My name is Natasha Whipple Stout and I am from Hiko, NV, a little town about 100 miles north of Las Vegas. I have 3 children, Mylah (12), Marek (10), and Laynee (7). I have lived in many different places one of which was Logan, Utah where I received my Bachelor degree from Utah State University in Family Life Studies, moved to Australia and finally found myself back in my hometown of Hiko. After a divorce, I found myself wanting to further my education. I attained my substitute teaching license and found my calling in teaching. I was looking for a program that would allow me to use my Bachelor degree as a stepping stone to acquire my teaching license. A friend recommended Great Basin College and this program so I applied and was accepted into the ARL program at Great Basin College.

I am so excited to graduate in May with my Post-Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education! It has been a demanding two years, but it was worth every second to be able to be where I am today. I have learned so much and am so grateful for the education Great Basin College has provided me. This has been a wonderful journey filled with fantastic professors and an amazing advisor in Mrs. Denise Padilla.
